  About Domaine De MarCE

Sustainably Farmed

Domaine de Marcé is a family-owned winery nestled in the village of Oisly, within France's renowned Touraine region of the Loire Valley. Managed by seventh-generation winemaker Christophe Godet, who took over from his father Daniel in 2008, the estate spans approximately 35 hectares of vineyards. The Godet family's deep-rooted connection to the land and commitment to traditional winemaking practices are evident in their wines.

The vineyards are situated on gently sloping hillsides at about 131 meters above sea level, benefiting from a mild climate and soils composed of fine sand over a layer of clay. This unique terroir imparts finesse and elegance to the wines, with the clay providing depth and substance.

Domaine de Marcé specializes in Sauvignon Blanc, which constitutes 80% of their production. They also cultivate Chardonnay and red varieties such as Gamay, Cabernet, Côt, and Pineau d'Aunis. Their offerings include white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines under appellations like Touraine, Touraine Oisly, and Crémant de Loire.

One of their standout wines is the "Coulée Galante" Touraine Oisly Sauvignon Blanc, known for its vibrant aromatics of grapefruit, gooseberry, and white flowers, coupled with a refreshing minerality.

Visitors to Domaine de Marcé can enjoy complimentary wine tastings, though it's advisable to book an appointment in advance. The winery is located at 10 Route de Marcé, 41700 Oisly, France. Divine Loire.
