About Domaine Valand

Sustainably Farmed / Natural, Low Intervention/ woman owned

  • Marie-Christine ANDRIEU and Pascal VALADIER have been operating their vineyards for 30 years together. In 1986, the domaine was created with 6 hectares of vines. The Valand estate has been an organically cultivated vineyard since 2010, it consists of 15 hectares of vines. This region is represented by a butterfly, it teaches us to modify our lives and our behaviors for a better respect of the environment. It plays a major role in our ecosystem. Through its image, we seek respect for nature so that the soil and the plant are revealed at the end. The 2018 vintage was the first entirely organic on all the Domaines cuvées. The estate is located in the heart of the southern Rhône coasts near the Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, vacqueyras, in the Communes of Travaillan, Camaret sur Aigues, Sérignan du Comtat, and Cairanne. The majority vineyards are planted with Grenache (40 years), Syrah (25 years), Carignan (25 years), Mourvèdre (25 years) Cinsault (30 years), Viognier (15 years), Marsanne, Roussanne (12 years), Merlot, carignan blanc (25 years old).
